Oh how I love Maw's homemade ice cream!
Now the funny part....
My mom (loving called Maw by the girls) made homemade ice cream for J's birthday party. She searched high and low for a recipe that wouldn't subject her grandbabies to raw eggs. She found one and the result was delicious!
Now you may ask, "Is this the first time she ever made homemade ice cream?"
No. We grew up with homemade ice cream. My whole life. Every summer. Raw eggs in it, too. Does any one else see a discrepancy here?
