We had a great but sweltering time at our neighborhood's National Night Out. Jump houses galore, pony rides, petting zoo, trampoline bungee jumping, a magician and an amazing fire juggler. We enjoyed hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, sodas and ice cream.
Now, whoever decided August was a good time for a giant outside activity must be insane. Heat index 108 here yesterday.

After one and almost two heat strokes last year, we decided not to participate this year. However, we are on the band wagon that is trying to get Texas to changes it's Nite Out to October!
