When I was growing up we had fire drills and tornado drills.
Today, J's school had a lock down drill.
You read that correctly, a lock down drill.
Teachers had to lock their doors and cover their windows. Kids had to hide under their desks and remain silent. Let's hope J never has to do that for real.

When I was a kid we had earthquake drills and fire drills.
